Less than a fifth of young people are taking the recommended daily amount of exercise, new research has found.
Youngsters spend longer texting their friends and using social networking sites than getting active, according to the British Heart Foundation (BHF).
The charity carried out a survey which found that just 19% take 60 minutes of exercise a day, with three quarters not aware of the health guidelines.
